first impressions
THE GAME
Vanishing Stars is a 2 players turn by turn card game played on a board. Each player has a deck already setup with 30 cards in each.
You will be the commander of a galactic fleet belonging to one of the two races in the game : humans and the myriad.
Your goal is to reduce at 0 the defence points of your opponent.
You should place your units on the board and move them to reach your opponent and his fleet !
Your ingeniosity will be challenged ! You will do a surprise attack by skirting the ennemies forces ? A frontal attack ? Or you will overwhelm him ?
In Vanishing Stars you choose ! Each battle is unique !

THE STORY
On February 7, 2252, an army of gigantic spiders and insects launched a surprise attack on the Earth. Appearing near the Solar System aboard a gigantic Centipede, these fearless warriors quickly reduced earth orbital defense systems to a state of total chaos.
Human technology was unable to fight against the speed and numbers of the invaders. Earth's defense was rapidly abandoned in order to concentrate on evacuation. While the humanity still continues to resist thanks to its colonies on Mars and Tau Ceti, the rest of the refugees went in search of a new planet to call home, one far from our solar system.

In Vanishing stars, the cards can move on the board. On each of their edges, they have a specific attack. So, depending of your placement, your cards will have a different impact. Take attention to their effects too.
They can be decisive !
